Farish Media recentlydocumented one of worlds largest hula festivals at Waikoloa Beach Resort, November 5-9, 2008. The third annual The Moku O Keawe International Festivalfeatured hundreds of
performers and students from Hawaii, Japan and aroundthe world. The event is an immersivecelebration of hula and offers diverse opportunities to experience Hawaiis best-loved artform - in competition, workshops and performances. The master workshops offer amicro-education in Hawaiian culture, hula and its related arts and were taughtthis year by such respected artisans as Kealii Reichel, Nalani Kanakaole, andKeala Ching, among many others. The hulacompetition featured kupuna, auana and kahiko divisions. Farish Media created severalmarketing pieces for the festival, including television and radio campaigns,web video and video news footage for all statewide network affiliates and coveredthe events each day.
