Farish Media, in association with Salty Dog Productions, is currently in production of a new 13-episode TV series entitled The Salty Dog Sportfishing Chronicles. This new series will feature the crew of the Salty Dog - Captain Mitch Lattof, first mate Charlie Bowman and angler Ashton Lattof - in their quest for a grander (1,000+ pound pacific blue marlin) in the beautiful waters off
"I don't remember catching my first fish, or even my first thousand," says Mitch Lattof, "but I do remember the first time I laid eyes on a blue marlin, and how breathtaking it was to catch one at only nine years old."
The Salty Dog Sportfishing Chronicles will offer a glimpse into the life of fishing in Kona. Viewers will learn about the latest and most advanced techniques for pursuing blue marlin. You'll experience the excitement, boredom, humor, conflict, disappointment and exhilaration that all go along with fishing for the big blues. You'll also learn more about
The production team for the series is lead by director Mason Farish and producer Regina Farish of Farish Media, Inc. Mike Peele will serve as associate producer. Mitch Lattof is writer and executive producer. The series will be shot exclusively in HD with two cameras mounted full-time on the Salty Dog, three top-side cameramen, one underwater cameraman, and one chase boat cameraman. It will be edited in Final Cut Pro HD. Shooting has begun and will wrap in August 2010.
