FARISH MEDIA has been based in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii since 1994. Although our video production crews travel worldwide many times throughout the year, Hawaii offers us a home base where we can put our philosophy to work. That is to create film, television , corporate and commercial video presentations that are unique, effective and above what you expect.

Mason Farish Robert Mason Farish grew up in France, Germany and several states in the U.S. as a military brat, experiencing a change in lifestyle almost every year until early adulthood. Through this he gained a great respect for a variety of customs around the world. Mason has worked in television and radio production for over 30 years. He moved to Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i with wife Regina in 1994. As president of Farish Media, his responsibilities include writer, director and editor as well as overseeing production operations. Mason enjoys family, friends, his work, screenplay writing, travel and golf – all in that order.

Regina Farish Regina grew up in Pendleton, South Carolina and graduated from Clemson University in 1990 with a degree in finance. She has worked in television and video production for 15 years. In 1994, Regina and Mason moved to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. She is Vice President of Farish Media where she is in charge of all accounting and administrative functions. Her talents are also used in the areas of production management, scheduling, permitting, public relations, talent coordination, scriptwriting, and remote production staffing. Regina enjoys golfing, reading, watching movies, snorkeling, gardening, college football, travel and is a huge Elvis fan.

Ben Farish
Ben grew up in Seminole, Florida. In 1998 he received his A.A. degree from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida. Shortly after receiving his degree, Ben enrolled as an undergraduate at the University of Florida, majoring in Psychology. Film studies was another interest. After a couple of semesters into his major, Ben was offered and accepted a job with Farish Media, Inc. In June of 2000, Ben traversed cross-country to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii to pursue his career as cameraman and editor for Farish Media, Inc. Ben has been involved with many television productions and has been fortunate to work with and learn from various production companies. Ben also serves as Video News Release Director for all network affiliate stories. |

Don Penner
Don Penner, a native of Saskatchewan, Canada, has lived in Kailua-Kona for over 15 years. He is an experienced director of photography, underwater videographer, and editor. Don also teaches video production at Kealakehe High School. He works closely with the students on their “Project Grad” and “Anti-Drug Video Campaigns” each year. Don devotes much of his time and energy to mentoring young videographers and filmmakers. |

Mike Peele Mike grew up on Houston, Texas and moved to Boston, Massachusetts for eight years prior to moving to Kona in 2004. In Boston, Mike worked as a computer and video technician for a company that catered to the local independent production community. Familiar with, if not fluent, on a number of popular editing platforms, he appreciates the technical features and challenges of the non-linear video editing environment. Working with Farish Media has afforded Mike the opportunity to gain production experience and has expanded his technical and creative editing capabilities. |
